Laboratory Peristaltic Pump

A laboratory peristaltic pump is a non-contact fluid dispensing and metering device that delivers fluids by compressing flexible tubing. It is mainly used for precise transfer of small volumes of liquid, continuous dispensing, and recirculation applications. It is an essential precision fluid control tool in biological, chemical, and analytical laboratories.

Working Principle

A peristaltic pump uses rollers rotating inside the pump head to sequentially compress the flexible tubing. This creates negative pressure to draw liquid into the tubing and positive pressure to discharge it. The fluid only comes into contact with the inner surface of the tubing and does not contact the pump body. This design helps prevent cross-contamination, makes cleaning easier, and allows the flow rate to be precisely controlled by adjusting the pump speed.

Applications
