A laboratory halogen moisture analyzer is designed to quickly determine the moisture content of samples using the loss-on-drying method. It calculates the moisture percentage based on the sample's weight loss during heating, making it suitable for rapid moisture testing in the food, chemical, plastics, pharmaceutical, and animal feed industries.

Working Principle

The sample is placed on the weighing pan and heated rapidly and uniformly by a halogen lamp, causing the moisture to evaporate. A built-in high-precision weighing system continuously monitors changes in sample mass, while a PT-100 temperature sensor provides accurate temperature control within a range of 50–180°C. Once the sample mass stabilizes, the instrument automatically calculates and displays the moisture content.
